What is your cancellation policy?

For our regular rate, a guest can cancel up to 14 days prior to arrival, for discounted rates there are NO REFUNDS for canceled reservations.

Do I need a credit card to make a reservation?

Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Reservations require a 50% deposit; the remaining balance is due 24 hours prior to arrival. For discounted rates, payment is processed in full upon making the reservation. Reservation holders must be 23 years of age or older and present at check-in.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check in time is 4pm, check out time is 11am.

Can I request an early check-in or late check-out?

The guaranteed check-in is at 4:00pm. Anything earlier is based upon availability, and we will do our best to accommodate. The check out time is 11 AM as our team needs to clean and prepare the rooms for our next guests. On off-peak days we may have some flexibility. If you would like to linger on the property or utilize the pools, etc., after your room check-out we are happy to store your luggage until you depart.

Do you offer any special rates or packages?

Any special rates that may be currently being offered can be found on the “Offers” tab on our website.

Are there any hidden fees or resort fees?

No RESORT FEES, The MBH is one of the few Montauk hotels that have no such fees. Room Rates are plus mandated State & Local sales Taxes.

How can I modify or cancel an existing reservation?

Rescheduling a confirmed reservation may be possible if guest agrees to maintain an equal number of nights – subject to availability; with 2 weeks’ prior notice.All reservation changes must be received in writing via email at reservations@thembh.com.

Do you offer group rates or event bookings?

Yes, for group rates or event bookings contact the hotel directly or inquire via email at Reservations@TheMBH.com. For events only inquire at Events@TheMBH.com

Is there Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel?

We offer Hi-Speed Complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the entire hotel property

Do you have parking?

Parking is available around the hotel but it's on public streets and therefore limited. We do not offer valet parking and we are not responsible for any vehicle damages or parking violations.

Are there dining options at the hotel?

Yes we have an outdoor covered dining area with lounge seating. See the “Dining” tab on our website for details.

Can I charge items at the Bar & Grill to my room?

Room charges are not available for Food & Beverage at the Bar & Grill.

Is there a concierge or front desk available 24/7?

Concierge services are available at the front desk from 7AM to 11PM, for dining reservations, transportation, and general area information.

Is housekeeping service available daily?

Housekeeping service is available daily until 6pm.

Are pets allowed at your hotel?

We only allow small dogs in our hotel and charge a $200 pet fee/stay. We require dogs to be leashed while outside of the room. Housekeeping will not service rooms with dogs inside. Dogs are not allowed in the pool under any circumstances.

How close is the hotel to the beach?

We are a short 1 block stroll from one of the best Montauk ocean beaches

Can I come by train or bus and is there a shuttle service available?

The Long Island Railroad offers a train service to Montauk. Taxis are readily available to reach the hotel. Bus service is offered by the Hampton Jitney, and the Montauk stop is about 2 ½ blocks from the hotel but taxis are also available.

Are there restaurants, shops, or nightlife within walking distance?

The hotel is within walking distance of some of the best restaurants and shops in Montauk. Transportation to other locations is easily arranged by hotel staff.

Is the hotel smoke-free?

All rooms and the entire hotel property are Smoke & Vape Free.

Do you allow outside food and beverages?

Outside food and beverages may be consumed in guest rooms but are not permitted in the hotel’s common public areas and pool.

What is your security and privacy policy?

We do have security at night from 11pm-7am

Do you have a lost and found?

Yes, report your lost item at the front desk with your contact number.

Can I host a private event or party at your property?

Do you offer gift cards or vouchers?

Yes, Gift cards are available by contacting the hotel. Please make sure to be specific whether you would like to purchase a gift card for room stays or the restaurant.

Can I have a package sent to the hotel?

Yes, with the following guidelines:
Packages must be
small (needs to be able to fit in our storage space).
Dimensions must be less than 24”x24”x24”
We cannot accept liquor deliveries.
Any packages that require a room drop (gift bags, welcome packages, etc.) will incur a delivery fee.
Packages being sent more than 24 hours prior to arrival will incur a storage fee of $50/box.

I’d love to send a bottle or take care of drinks for a guest staying with at your hotel or dining at your restaurant — can you let me know how I can arrange that?

Absolutely. Just call 631-668-2112 or email us at reservations@thembh.com and let us know the guest’s name and room number, or the name on the restaurant reservations and what you'd like to send (specific bottle, cocktail, or dollar amount in the form of a gift card).
